Send event invitations on WhatsApp and track every RSVP
Attend sends your event invitations, reminders and updates by WhatsApp, SMS or email, and every RSVP lands on one guest list as it arrives. WhatsApp and SMS are included on Pro and Custom.
Why planners move invitations off group chats
Most planners already use WhatsApp to reach guests. The trouble starts when the replies come back: a "yes" in one chat, "my wife and I" in another, a voice note about dietary needs in a third. By the week of the event, nobody is sure of the headcount.
Attend keeps WhatsApp as the channel and moves the record-keeping into one place. You send the invitation from Attend. Guests reply through the invitation. The guest list updates itself.
How it works
- Create the event and its invitation. Add the date, venue and details, and match the invitation to the event's look. Attend's AI assistant can help write the description.
- Import or add your guests. Each guest sits on that event's list, separate from your other clients' events.
- Send by WhatsApp, SMS or email. Pick the channel that suits each guest. Many planners use WhatsApp for guests and email for corporate contacts.
- Watch RSVPs come in. Responses, plus-ones and answers to your custom questions update the guest list as they arrive.
- Send updates and reminders. Message everyone, or just the guests who haven't replied, from the same place.
What you can send
| Message | Who it goes to | When |
|---|---|---|
| Invitation with RSVP | Guests | Weeks before the event |
| Reminder to reply | Guests who have not responded | One to two weeks out |
| Venue, timing or dress-code update | All confirmed guests | Whenever plans change |
| Thank-you and feedback request | Attendees | The day after |
| Client and vendor updates | The client, the couple, vendors | Throughout planning |

Good practice for WhatsApp invitations
- Get guests' numbers from the client with their agreement, and only use them for the event.
- Keep the first message short: who, what, when, and the RSVP link.
- Send one reminder, not five. Target it at the guests who haven't replied.
- Use email alongside WhatsApp for corporate guests who expect a calendar-style invitation.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send event invitations on WhatsApp with Attend?
Yes. On Pro and Custom plans you can send invitations, reminders and updates to guests by WhatsApp, SMS or email from Attend.
Do RSVPs from WhatsApp update my guest list automatically?
Yes. Guests respond through the digital invitation, and their RSVP, plus-ones and answers to your questions update the guest list in real time.
Can I message only the guests who have not replied?
Yes. You can send a reminder to the guests still to respond instead of messaging your whole list.
Is WhatsApp messaging included on the free plan?
No. Attend Basic includes limited email messaging. WhatsApp and SMS are on Pro and Custom.
